Facilities Technician
SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Technician. The Facilities Technician reports to Principle and Director of Fixior Group, with additional oversite from Rebuild Foundation’s Executive Director and Director of Programs and Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform building and grounds maintenance across sites owned and activated by Rebuild Foundation. Includes a combination of public facilities, residential properties, private offices, production and storage facilities, as well as open lots.

Travel to building sites regularly to ensure that facilities are fully operational and respond to any issues promptly and effectively

Conduct maintenance, upkeep, rehab, and repair work

Ensure that all facilities are cleaned and maintained according to company policy and procedures

Perform landscaping/snow removal, cleaning, and waste management

Maintain all machinery and tools to keep them in good working condition

Monitor equipment inventory

Provide support to construction and project managers
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience with and ability to perform tasks related to facilities cleaning, maintenance, and repair

Strong time management and organizational skills

Ability to be courteous and professional at all times with colleagues, vendors, partners, tenants, and the general public

Able to work as a team member and collaborate on projects in a positive and effective manner

Excellent communications skills

Must have vehicle and car insurance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employees is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands of fingers to feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk and hear. The employee must be able to bend stoop, pull, push, lift and extend arms overhead. Must be able to lift, carry, or move up to 40 pounds. Vision requires close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus quickly.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to outdoor weather conditions prevalent at the time and place. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but, at times, can be high. Employee will utilize appropriate protective gear to ensure safety at all times.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-50 pounds. Requires ability to stand throughout the workday, some bending, stooping and stretching, requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to communicate with staff, visitors and vendors. Primary working hours are during open hours. For special events, may be required to work additional hours outside of regularly scheduled hours and advance notice will be provided as practicable.
